Lost Earring Trading Post

Role: concept, embroidery, sourcing

The Lost Earring Trading Post is a small installation intended to be shared at festivals, campouts, and clothing swaps, encouraging participants to rescue lone earrings and mix up their own jewelry by creating new pairings. I routinely solicit friends and local free groups for singleton earrings to replenish the stock. At one event, as I was packing up, a partipant excitedly ran up to the installation and squealed with glee upon realizing their lost earring had indeed made it to the Trading Post and they were able to reunite the pair!
