Something Else

Since 2018, I have co-produced Something Else, a five-day family-friendly arts campout in the woods of Mendocino County, growing the event eightfold since its inception. In addition to founding the event and filing as an LLC, I write our email newsletter, produce website and social media content, publish the event map, provide high-level support for our volunteer program, and advise our safety teams to maintain a safe container for all participants. I am proud to name marriages, babies, and a host of enduring friendships that have sprouted from the seed of Something Else!

Take 3 Presents

Since 2016, I have created art for Take 3 Presents, a nonprofit immersive theater and interactive arts event company that produces 2–3 events each year. I joined the organization's internal Culture Committee upon its creation in Spring 2023 to foster participant inclusion, community cohesion, and support for artists. I'm currently working an acculturation video project to support the transition of one of the events from its longtime home to a new, larger venue. In Spring 2024, I further expanded my involvement to joining the board of directors.
